Hervé Zénouda (Stinky Toys, Mathématiques Modernes) et Gregory Davidow (Spions) ont formé un duo éphémère à Paris en 1981. Cet été‑là, ils ont enregistré des démos pour un projet de groupe, nom de code Mitzpah. Quarante ans plus tard, n’ayant jamais oublié ce projet avorté, Zénouda propose au label Pop Supérette de réenregistrer tous les titres avec Davidow au chant et les musiciens présents à cette époque, dont Yann Le Ker, ex-Modern Guy.
